I am a certified EC-6 dual-language (English and Spanish) teacher in Texas and have taught dual language first grade in Fort Worth ISD from 2011-2013. Both of my classes of 22 students made on average 1.75 years’ worth of reading growth within a year, and our class averaged above 80% mastery on all math content.
