During the first lesson she took extra time going through his notes from class and looking through his textbook with him. This enabled her to put together a lesson plan that would be best for him. She was able to teach him ways to recognize and remember the different tones and used repetition and flashcards to help him remember important vocabulary. After just one session of tutoring my son showed improvement on a test at school and his teacher noticed increased participation in class! During the second lesson Wei Z. looked over his recent quiz from school and was able to use that to help him focus on areas he still needs to work on. She does a great job keeping the lessons motivating and fun for him.
