My son was really struggling to stay caught up with the class due to loss of class time. He was not testing well and was very frustrated. In the first tutoring session I knew Ryan was the answer for us. Ryan is very knowledgeable and has the skills to teach the subject matter. But, more than that, he brings an enthusiasm that makes even a geometry lesson very, very enjoyable. My son was smiling almost the entire lesson and for an hour after. His next quiz he scored 100%. He's wonderful - very professional, responsive to emails, calls and texts, is pleasant, arrives/meets on-time and is conscientious in fulfilling the time periods we pay for! Although I appreciate the former attributes, the most important aspect to me is that he can explain the material well and can relate well to my son, who is a senior. He does both extremely well. Ryan is tutoring my son in both pre-cal and for the SAT Math Portion -- his grades have shot up and I've no doubt his SAT scores will too. As a matter of fact, my son told me that he wants to continue tutoring with Ryan (even after he takes the SAT this Saturday) because he likes him so much and believes he can get a good solid base going into college, and believe me, that's not like my son at all! Now mind you, we have tried many tutoring organizations in the Clear Lake/League City/Webster/Friendswood area and I can honestly say not one of them ($$$$ later...ughhh) have helped my son learn and retain he material as quickly and thoroughly.
