I’m a recently returned Peace Corps Volunteer who was stationed in Lesotho, Southern Africa. I taught 8th and 9th grade mathematics and 11th and 12th grade chemistry in a resource poor environment. Before that I completed my Ph.D. in molecular biology from the University of Pennsylvania where I studied stem cells in the fruit fly. I received my bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Dillard University in 2006, where I also had a minor in Spanish and math.
