Beth B’s Tutoring for Writing and Pre-Algebra Skills

I taught/tutored in home settings for the internationally-known SPICE Family Literacy Program in Maine from 2002-2013. It ended for me because I moved to Indiana last October. While working with families, much of the instructors’ focus was to promote children’s literacy skills. Although primarily an adult education instructor, I also tutored many of these children and enjoyed helping them to love and look forward to school. Their success stories have been documented by the program.
