I have taught for the past 19 years as a middle school Language Arts and History teacher. I chose to retire from the physical classroom this year because of a desire to pursue writing, tutoring, and online instruction. There is an increasing need for one-on-one instruction and unfortunately the demands of the full-time teacher today limit effective tutoring opportunities. It is rewarding to work individually with a student and see them improve, gain confidence, and excel.
