I understand how frustrating learning can be if it’s not treated as a two-way street. Everyone sees things differently, and knowledge of the subject matter is worthless if a teacher isn’t willing to also figure out how to make the student understand in his or her own way. My priority as a teacher is always to figure out how the student sees things, and learn where the issues really are.
