Teacher of phonics, reading, and math
I earned my bachelors degree in education and math in the state of Illinois and taught math for one year before marrying and moving to New York. I home schooled my eight children who have gone on to college with great success. I currently teach in a small private school where I have had tremendous success teaching phonics and reading to kindergarten students using the Abeka program. I also enjoy teaching math up to algebra (this is the level my certification was for)….
