Help! in Understanding Pre/K-8 Subjects

I have taught for 20+ years in public and Christian schools in various grades from Pre/K to 8th grade. I have taught pre-algebra, algebra, and geometry. Throughout this time, I have encountered students who learn in various ways. Recently, I have tutored a student who learned best by playing games.
