Kent is a graduate of Howard University’s College of Fine Arts (drama major). As a playwright, director, and actor he has created original productions for national and international youth programs (including the musicals “Triunfar!” (i.e. The Winners!) in Bogota, Colombia and the hip-hop musical “A Friend in Need” in Las Vegas. As a professional actor he has appeared on stage, screen, and as a voiceover artist including: “Law & Order, Law & Order: SVU,” and as a regular ensemble player on the syndicated “Apollo Comedy Hour.” In recent years he toured with the Pushcart Players theatre ensemble.
