Wessam is a visiting scholar at Western Michigan University. He received his B.A. in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from the College of Education at Alexandria University, Egypt in 2006. In 2009, he earned a two year diploma in applied linguistics from the college of arts and humanities at Alexandria University.
