Chris G. from Raleigh, NC Tammy is very thorough she did an assessment on my grandson to determine where to begin her lesson plan with him to help him to succeed. My grandson felt comfortable with her. She was prepared with subject material that interest him she really took into consideration the information I gave to her about him. He was given homework. Yes. Even though this was only the first session I am encouraged and believe that Tammy is off to a great start with tutoring my grandson.

Sonya D. from Raleigh, NC She is warm, thorough, gives homework and is very detailed on what she works on with my daughter. We meet at a library and she works with her while I am near by. When I check they are very engaged and she has my daughter's focus. My daughter is comfortable and likes her. She remarked she smelled like cupcakes. My daughter has had various tutors and therapists, and would cooperate with them, but not want to read at home later. She enjoys doing the exercises later. Her attitude towards reading has improved after just three lessons. She has gone from running and hiding when it is time to read to having to be told to go to bed (because it is late) instead of continuing to read. We feel fortunate to have her. January 23, 2013: Just to provide an update, my daughter's grades have improved dramatically. Officially Dyslexic, she does have some accommodations, but they are minimal. She reached honor roll status for 2nd quarter. Want to publicly thank Mrs. J. for her hard work, patience, and dedication. She's a vital part of a team working towards my little girl's success.
