Being that she grew up with the language, you don't have to worry if she corrects you: she KNOWS and LIVES the language. A fluent Spanish teacher helps you get in tune with the everyday conversation of Spanish. In terms of personality, she's a sweetheart! She never intimidates, but she'll let you know if you've done something wrong and insists that you correct on it. She'll works with you on the many different grammatical, vocal and situational aspects of the language. My advice is that when you have Nelly as your tutor, let her know what your ultimate goal is and what kind of plan you want to complete with her; that way she'll work with you on those goals and she'll know what to expect from you.
