I began studying Spanish on my own at age 15. After 2 years of Latin, I took 2 years of Spanish in high school. At college I took Spanish, German, French, and New Testament Greek. Since Midland didn’t offer any more Spanish at that time, I took advantage of an opportunity to study at the Inter American University of Puerto Rico for my junior year.
