I enjoy teaching mostly because I love learning.
I realize how difficult it can be to score well on standardized tests and course work. I did not go to a particularly challenging high school, so my SAT scores did not, in my opinion, accurately reflect my potential. I did go to an excellent college-Wesleyan University-but again found myself not scoring on tests as I thought I should.
