Annette Y. from Los Angeles, CA We needed a tutor to help our daughter with the ISEE test. This was my first time using WyzAnt, I like the setup and how you select the tutor of your choice. I read Fatima's Bio, which was impressive, but sometimes what's on paper is not always the case. I emailed her, and she immediately responded. I asked several questions and I was comfortable with the responses. From those emails I selected Fatima to tutor my daughter. From the first meeting I knew I picked the right tutor. Fatima talked to my daughter and found out what her likes and dislikes and wanted to know how she felt about her subjects. Which was nice to see, my daughter just recently took a test preparation for the ISEE exam on the pre-test results, she was struggling in a few areas. Fatima went over those areas and set-up plan to address those issues. Each lesson was structured to go over the questions and how to solve them, in a timely manner. Making sure that she took her time and read each question carefully. One thing I really like after each lesson she gave us an assessment of what was discussed during each lesson. Also she gave her homework, which was so beneficial, finally she had a tutor that was not only knowledgeable but patient and spoke to my daughter at her level. Good tutors are hard to find, if you're looking for a tutor to help your child, Fatima is the one for you. I already gave out her name and website to other parents, but I definitely plan to use Fatima again in the near future. Thank you for bringing out the best in my daughter.

My son is a junior in high school, and although he is a straight A student, he just didn't seem to be able to do well on the SAT. He first took the SAT with no prep, did horrible on it. Then, he started working with Fatima, and she was so patient with him. She has a very engaging manner and he responded to her immediately. She was always punctual for all the sessions, always sent him an email the next day with a summary of what they had worked on in the previous session and also what homework he should try to accomplish before the next lesson. She is extremely professional and responsible. After working with her, he re-took the SAT and his score went up 190 points. Then, he kept working with her and took the ACT, and this time his ACT score went up even higher! At that point he decided he had done well enough on the ACT to not have to retake it again. On one of the geography exams, I achieved the highest grade on the exam! Fatima is very caring, and as a result if I ever had a question she was more than happy to answer any questions that I had. In addition, she allowed me to call her whenever I needed assistance; even if she were in the middle of something, she would take the time to accommodate my needs as soon as possible. Fatima also tutored me in Fundamentals of Biology as well as World Literature 1650 CE- the present, and Shakespeare plays-tragedies/Romance. Currently, this summer, she has been my College Consultant and Counselor. She is helping me with the transfer process into a 4-year university. In Fall 2011, she will continue to tutor me in Fundamentals of Chemistry. Fatima has truly been an inspiration, a role model, a mentor, and a friend. I am truly grateful to have had the chance to find such a great instructor. She has believed in me more than any other tutor I have ever had in the past. Fatima has inspired me to set high goals for myself and achieve in life all my dreams and aspirations. In addition, she has taught me to be resilient in spite of difficulties.
