I was born in Shanghai, China and raised up in Auckland, New Zealand.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Japanese language at the University of Auckland.

I taught and tutored English, Chinese and Japanese in various settings to learners of all ages before commencing my Master of Arts degree at the Monterey Institute of International studies.

I have extensive experience in teaching Japanese and Chinese of all levels.
