Darien T. from Paoli, PA I can not thank Carol enough for job she did in tutoring a student here at Green Valley Academy. She was always punctual, professional, creative, and enthusiastic. I have worked in education for 38 years and enjoyed working with her believe she is a fantastic tutor.

Zachary S. from Gordonville, PA I've been tutored in French by Carol for several months now. My progress has been slow, but this is not due to her ability to teach and challenge students but rather my negligence of doing homework. She is very good at guiding a student along at his or her pace while also simultaneously challenging them beyond their capabilities, thus making them want to work harder. I am studying French so that I'll have a basic reading ability should I go back to graduate school for History. She's also helped me in my listening and speaking abilities. It's a struggle but she makes it fun, and I walk away from every lesson knowing a little bit more French. Some people can grasp the language quickly, others progress slowly and steadily, it often depends on how much homework you are willing to do. She understands that each student is different, and works with you wherever you are at, all the while trying to guide you to the next level.

Faris A. from Claymont, DE Carol is a really great tutor. She gives books and homework for her student. She is one of the kindest people you would ever meet. She tries so hard to make things clear for her students. She comes on time and spend the time really wisely with the student.

Samaa G. from Downingtown, PA Carol is a great tutor. Her expansive knowledge of French and her teaching methods have helped my daughter develop her pronunciation and reading skills. She supplies excellent reading and listening materials which have expanded my daughter's knowledge of the French language. She is very patient and an excellent resource. I recommend her to anyone without reservations.

Dan W. from New Holland, PA We chose her due to proximity. She was difficult to get times, dates etc. Then she changed them, she couldn't remember my sons name she kept calling him my name and vise versa. She finally came for the first lesson (average) and got lost the second lesson. We live 3 miles from her. No showed called me from her house because she got lost. Quit over the phone leaving us high and dry. Find some one else don't use her!

Miguel J. from Reading, PA My son started doing cyber school 1 month ago at the middle of the school year and he has a very hard time with French. He did his first semester of French at the school and his grades were always A+ but what he had learned at school was far behind of the second semester at cyber school. Carol started tutoring my son and he learned in two weeks with her what he had not learned in 5 months at school.

Rashida R. from Lancaster, PA I've learned so much form Carol in a short period of time. She was very accommodating and gave me workbooks to study from. This was awesome!! She is very knowledgeable and keeps current with today's spoken French. She is able to explain why certain terms are/aren't used any more and various grammatical rules. I will recommend her to anyone. Carol is a fun, patient and extremely knowledgeable tutor!!

Elmeda R. from Christiana, PA I enjoy having Carol as a teacher. I know I have many problems learning, but she is so patient, willing to help, always a smile on her face. When my homework is not completely learned as it should be, I am not nervous about it, like I would be with others. She is a ray of sunshine. I feel great after my lesson. I want to learn, and I am trying my best. I am an old bird, and I think this is why it is harder for me. Carol is a great teacher, and many would have an advantage if they had her for a teacher. She makes learning fun, and she is very knowledgeable.

Xiaochen Y. from Lancaster, PA Carol tutored my son for about 3 months earlier in the year. The results have been fantastic. My son's SAT score increased by more than 180 points in the short 3 month period. I definitely plan to have Carol help him again in the summer. Here are some of the quotes from my son: Carol was "very friendly and encouraging, always pointing out the progress I made, making me wanting to learn more." Carol was "dedicated, checking up on my progress even during the weekdays." I would recommend Carol as a tutor to any parents who want to improve their children's writing and reading skills, particularly for SAT and/or ACT preparation. She has definitely produced exceptional results for my 10th grader.

Sue P. from New Holland, PA My son enjoyed working with Carol. She had a good rapport with him and worked according to the strengths and weaknesses presented in his SAT results data. She provided up-to-date resources to be used in the sessions. He was expected to be prepared for each session, but was not overly burdened with too much work, since he still had regular school obligations. She worked on reading as well as writing skills. In writing, she used his own writing samples to improve his skills. He showed improvement on the SAT he took after working with her. I have recommended Carol to others who needed her services. Great experience!
