Testimonials
Hugh C. from New York, NY I am taking Electromagnetics Physics and Jing was the perfect tutor to help me with this course. He is patient and explains the difficult concepts in a way that I could understand it better. He is a great tutor, and I believe he can help anyone succeed!!!
Diego H. from Bronx, NY I had a Calc 3 test in a couple of days and I was confused on many things. In just one hour Jing cleared up my confusion and reinforced what I did already know. I would definitely use his service again.
Arwa A. from West New York, NJ Jing has been my tutor for more then two months. I struggled with quantum mechanics and math classes but since I met him, things are getting much better. He helped me also with Excel and Matlab.
Anthony M. from Bronx, NY Jing has been a very useful tutor in my collegiate studies. I used him to help me with my Physics 101 class, and even though my grades did not pick up as much as I had hoped, that was through no fault on him, but instead my own study skills. He is very open when you need him to be, and the more you use him, the more of a priority you are to him. I had regular study days with him each week, and even when things need to be changed, he was always able to find time to fit me into his schedule. He is NOT the type of tutor for someone looking to just use him for quick answers. Jing will be able to pick up on if you really want to learn, or actually just want him to do your homework, and he will not continue your services if that is the case. He has helped by going over problems, as well as helped me reached conclusions on my own, this way it sticks with me more than if he was to just tell me the answer. Also, if Jing has come to a problem that he can not work out correctly at first, he will work on the problem on his own time, free of charge, and either send you the solution, or go over it the next time you meet with him. He does this to not waste your time and money, so you can get as much out of one session as possible. Overall a very excellent tutor. *(Excuse any grammatical errors. I'm an Engineering major, not an English major!)
Lis I. from River Edge, NJ Jing's teaching style was very personable and easy to understand. He was on time and very thorough in his preparation. He explained the conceptual aspects of physics as well as every step in problem solving. Jing shared his review notes with my daughter, who greatly appreciated receiving them. She is looking forward to future study sessions as she prepares for the Physics IB exam. Thank you, Jing!
Michael S. from Manhattan, NY I took a demanding course that went through Calc 1, 2, 3, and linear algebra in one semester. I went through a number of tutors, most of whom were not able to keep up with the pace. Jing was different. He understood everything and explained it well. He was also very clear about what would show up in future courses and what wouldn't, which was extremely helpful.
Judy L. from New York, NY We worked on Calculus BC. Jing is a very knowledgeable tutor. All in all, I improved but I wasn't able to reach my goal.
Devon H. from Brooklyn, NY Jing is a fantastic tutor. He real knows how to translate the information in a way that I can understand. Moreso, he is very patient and intuitive towards my learning needs. He makes learning Calculus not seem so hard. I have improved drastically within the course and it is all thanks to his help! I'd definitely recommend that you use him!!!
Estee J. from New York, NY Jing is great. He gets to the point and he is super patient and extremely knowledgeable. He is reliable and flexible with scheduling sessions. He shows you the most efficient way of solving a problem and doing well on the Regents. He will also keep in mind what student needs and wants from the session.
Bob V. from Hoboken, NJ Jing has been my tutor for the entire year in AP Calc AB. He's truly knowledgeable about the material. In addition, he studied physics in college so he was super useful when it comes to word problems related to applications of calculus to the real world. Thanks man!
Fausto D. from New York, NY Jing is a knowledgeable and reliable tutor. He knows his math and more importantly, knows how to teach it. He is punctual and very flexible with his schedule. I am very pleased with his services. My son needed help preparing for the Algebra / Trigonometry Regents and has improved greatly with just a few tutoring sessions. Before the sessions his practice scores were barely passing and afterwards they are high 90s. My son now feels confident that he is going to excel on test day.
Selma S. from Woodside, NY Jing was my tutor for General Physics 1. He is very knowledgeable and he explains very well. I am not good at science and I struggled with my Physics class until I met Jing. He understood my needs as a student and he took the time to explain the concepts and gave examples in order for me to understand the material. I was able to continue on my own and keep up with my studies very successfully after Jing's tutoring. He also helped me by sending me some of his books/notes. I am very pleased with Jing as my tutor and I am definitely recommending him.
Danny K. from Wyckoff, NJ He is great tutor. He was able to show me how to do complex problems in simple ways. He's easy to understand and to talk too. He's nice about everything and really knows how to do math. Without him, I don't think I would be able to pass this calculus class. I recommend him to anyone needing help in calculus.
Edward S. from Purchase, NY Jing helped my son with Physics for Engineers 2 at a summer school class. He was easy to work with, smart, knew the material, and tailored his teaching to my son. I would definitely recommend him.
Carl R. from Hempstead, NY Jing was always prepared for the tutoring session and made sure to attempt problems from the textbook for himself before attempting to explain them to me. He had access to any textbook that I was using and was very flexible when I was using more than one. Instead of fumbling around to find problems and their solutions, he came prepared and was able to quickly start.
