My first tutoring experience was in middle school as a peer tutor. And ever since then, I enjoyed teaching.

My priority is to engage my students in the subject and help them understand key concepts. When learning and/or teaching nursing, “the why” and “the how” is equally and even more important than knowing just facts. I believe that fact-based memorization gets in the way of learning. As Ben Orlin once said, ?What separates memorization from learning is a sense of meaning.?
