I got a B.S. from the University of Illinois in 2011 and volunteered in the Peace Corps in Mozambique from 2012-2014. While I was serving in the Peace Corps I worked with a local teacher to run an afternoon school for adults who never got a basic education. I taught math and a little Portuguese, while she taught Portuguese and natural sciences. Now that I am home, I am preparing to go back to school for a masters degree.
