Kelly S. from Carlsbad, CA Elizabeth has been amazing with our daughter. In the short time they have been working together, Elizabeth has given our daughter wonderful tools to sound out words. Elizabeth is kind and patient. She has a calming and positive approach to learning. Elizabeth's strategies have given our daughter a desire to want to read but more importantly a greater confidence in herself. Highly recommend Elizabeth as a tutor.

Jessica S. from Oceanside, CA Halfway through 1st grade, we have moved schools 3 times. My daughter struggled to read, and we were not sure which way to turn. Elizabeth had her, after just 1 visit, glowing with pride! Elizabeth meets us in the library, and has everything setup. We will continue meeting until my daughter says we are done. *Update* 5-9-13 We still continue to meet Elizabeth twice a week. She has done wonders for my daughter. With Elizabeth's help, we will have a successful 2nd grader next school year. The structured teaching/lesson plans are top notch. The only problem I have is my daughter not thinking I am not as good at teaching as Ms. Elizabeth!

Catriona C. from Fallbrook, CA My story is an unusual one, as I had a hard time with anyone willing to take on my problem. I had a thirty three year old husband, who had no clue how to read. He was dyslexic, has short term memory loss and was bullied for it most of his life, which caused him to feel fear and anger towards anything with "reading" involved. He was the ultimate example of being pushed forward in school with no grasp on the material. Teachers didn't care. However, because of his dyslexia and memory issues, almost every tutor got sick and tired of trying to help him through it, and told him and myself that it was hopeless. That's when I found Elizabeth on WyzAnt. She has been working with him for almost 3 months now, and the improvement is very noticeable. Where he used to jumble letters, he doesn't anymore. He can name the consonants, the vowels and their sounds with ease, and is able to read at a child's level fairly easily. This may not seem like much, but it's an incredible step forward and he's starting to feel much more confident with himself and around others. Elizabeth has been the epitome of kind and selfless. Rescheduling due to work conflicts and family moments at the last minute, didn't seem to phase her, and she would just pick right back up where we left off at the next lesson. Not to mention we live in the sticks, so instead of meeting she offers to do his lessons over Skype. We have horrible reception and she would stay patient through it all. My husband thinks the world of her, and is now even insisting he get a phone, as he wants to learn to text and set up his own cell. This lady is a miracle worker, and I would recommend her to ANYONE who wants to help their child or even an ADULT learn to read! FANTASTIC!
