Tennille P. from Philadelphia, PA Darci S. is a wonderful tutor, the first initial phone contact she listened to me on what my concerns where and had already figured out ways to help my child improve. When she came for the first lesson, she jumped right in and started with the basics she even made up a little song to help him remember the process. She is wonderful and my child loves for his tutoring sessions to come, he has even in school started to show kids the way Darci has showed him to do division and he is doing great. She is a wonderful tutor and takes time to listen to the parent and especially the child on what is needed to learn.
Galeet F. from Ambler, PA Darci is a wonderful mix of a loving caring mother and a strong and diligent teacher. She takes her time to really understand where the child is struggling and how to help them fully understand the concepts they are working with. She holds their attention, keeping them focused until the end. Thank you Darci!
Sheila H. from Ambler, PA Darcie has been tutoring our 10 year old daughter in math (basic facts) since June. Darcie uses a good combination of written and online exercises to reinforce the learning. She identifies creative ways to cover material that can otherwise become mundane, but is necessary. Darcie is patient with her yet maintains appropriate expectations. She created an acronym for our daughters name, each letter representing an expectation for each lesson. Maintaining a positive attitude is one of the areas that Darcie has addressed during her lessons ? helping our daughter recognize that she has the ability to solve problems despite her own beliefs. She ties in real-life examples to help make these points. Each week, we receive a detailed summary of each lesson, and description of any problem or areas of strength. A very thorough tutor.
