Sharon M. from New York, NY Jonathan is awesome. I am 100% recommending Jonathan as a tutor for anyone at any level of knowledge. He never made me feel less than I am and was also very encouraging throughout the session. These are always my biggest fears in meeting with a new tutor. Will they get frustrated with me? Will they think I am dumb? Will they move too quickly? Jonathan made me feel secure in our session and that translated quickly to the material. At our first session, he was very patient with me right off the bat. He was able to quickly assess where I am in understanding the material in the first minutes of our session. I signed up to WyzAnt because I was having a hard time not only understanding the concepts of finance but also having a hard time understanding the methods my professor is using to teach us finance. Jon made both of these obstacles seem insignificant with regards to my overall success in learning the material. He is extremely competent and astute. He was able to look at my notes and class syllabus and understand how my professor is attempting to teach us and was quickly able to assess where I was in understanding the material. In broader terms, I believe Jon would be a fantastic tutor for a student at any level of knowledge. He can quickly assess where you are and where you want to be. He makes sure you clearly understand each topic before moving on, and he makes the session enjoyable. I don?t think I have ever had a tutor who helped me this much in one session.
