When it was clear that my daughter did not understand she immediately took a step back and re-built the foundation of the required material needed to move forward. She re-enforced the subject matter by giving her problems to work which they would review together. Susan takes the time to prepare for the tutoring sessions and has reference material and practice problems available. Her in-depth knowledge of math and teaching makes for a very focused and effective tutoring session. Other tutors maybe able to help with homework problems but Susan conveys the knowledge at a level that my daughter understands and maximizes her retention. I would highly recommend Susan.
