I am a University of Miami School of Music graduate with extensive experience in music education, theory, songwriting and arranging.
As a winner of the Florida State Concerto Competition at 17, and having performed with some of South Florida’s best singers and musicians, I offer a wealth of knowledge about how to connect music theory with music practice.

I specialize in creating individual lesson plans – no ‘cookie cutter’ methods, and no lectures about practicing!
My teaching style is free-flowing and relaxed. I’m very willing to adapt to any and all situations in order to make music education work for YOU.
My music reading curriculum helps student achieve quick and early success by focusing on one note at a time – instead of expecting you to play entire songs right away. This builds confidence and sets up my students for long-term success.- Equipment *
