As a transplant to Raleigh, N.C. from Cairo, Egypt, I have had the unique opportunity of sharing my native language of Arabic and deeply rich culture with many of the students attending university here. I am a graduate of Cairo University in Urological Surgery (1983) and have spent the past 27 years working in the medical profession in Egypt.
