Physics and Math Tutor
I love teaching, and have been tutoring for more than ten years now. I have worked with students in subjects ranging from college level physics to high school essay writing to elementary school math, but now I focus solely on high school and college math and physics.

Testimonials
Jenna W. from Carnation, WA We've loved working with Sarah. She helped my daughter sharpen her skills, and gave her great test-taking strategies, too. She was always quick to respond to questions and flexible with scheduling when we needed to make changes. We highly recommend her!
Lorie M. from Sammamish, WA My daughter has been working on her Algebra skills with Sarah for several weeks now and is doing great! Her skills and test scores have improved, and she is really enjoying her lessons with Sarah. Whenever she doesn't quite understand something presented to her, Sarah seeks out a different approach to present the concept in a way that my daughter can grasp. Even though she has joined the "Algebra lab" at school as another means to help her in her studies, she refuses to give up her tutoring time with Sarah, which she always enjoys and finds very helpful! Overall, great tutor!
Nigel T. from Woodinville, WA Sarah is bright, keen and makes lessons fun. Motivating her students and enabling them to achieve. Sarah makes difficult subject areas easy to understand, a very good teacher indeed!
Kelley H. from Redmond, WA My son is not a strong student. He struggles in reading due to hearing loss, and is dyslexic. Sarah immediately put him at ease by pointing out his strengths (not the weaknesses). My son was very intimidated about going to a tutor at 18, he told me that his session with Sarah was great! Choosing Sarah to help out my son for the ACT test was a great thing. Thanks!
Monica D. from Redmond, WA Sarah is a very dedicated tutor, and you can tell by the way she works on the problems and answers questions. She is very knowledgeable and has a great way of explaining the material in a coherent way.
Sandy H. from Redmond, WA Sarah is an excellent tutor. She always provides very accurate feedback about each tutoring session and where hangups are and what they did to try to overcome them. She is very helpful and fun!
Patti B. from Bellevue, WA Sarah is a gifted teacher. She has an excellent grasp of the material, high school physics and math in our my daughter's case, and a real gift for explaining the material to someone who is struggling with it. She is extremely reliable and easy to reach by email or phone. She always responds in a timely way to my calls and emails. She has increased my daughter's confidence in her ability to grasp difficult material, and I would definitely recommend her to any student.
Sarmila B. from Redmond, WA Sarah C. is a great tutor. Her command of the material for AP Physics is excellent and she can engage the student in the discussion. She is thorough and provides clear guidance.
Ian L. from Bellevue, WA My son is extremely impressed with Sarah's tutoring. Sarah helped him immensely with comprehension as well as problem solving. The subject is very challenging - AP Physics C. Yet Sarah guided him to find deeper understanding of the course. I think the unique combination of math and physics with psychology that Sarah possesses was the key in the ultimate success.
