Hello! My name is Gary. I have been teaching piano since 2008 and am looking to expand my studio outside of my current locale, where I teach around 40 students. I received my Master of Music degree in Performance and Literation at the Eastman School of Music, and my Bachelor of Music degree in Applied Music at the same school.
For parents researching piano lessons for your child / children, please know that the beginning stages of learning are crucial to cultivating good habits and fundamentals down the road. I am fully committed to making sure that your child do just that. Parental involvement is not only welcomed but strongly encouraged – feel free to sit in on your child’s lessons!
If you are an adult looking to learn piano, know that I am a very detail-oriented teacher, and will patiently answer whatever questions you might have. I understand full well that adult students have many other obligations, and I am happy to work around them as long as you are willing to learn.
