After graduating from UC Berkeley with a degree in Literature, I moved to San Francisco and worked at the Chronicle as an assistant editor, during which time I also wrote reviews and feature articles for local magazines. I then moved to Los Angeles where I worked on TV documentaries as a writer and producer. When I wasn’t working in production I taught ESL classes. I have also been playing guitar for over 35 years and have written hundreds of pop and rock songs.
