My name is Emily. I am a graduate from William Jessup University in Rocklin. I attained my B.A. in Intercultural Studies and had the privilege of studying abroad for 4 months in Uganda. It was an amazing and eye-opening experience.

Prior to Emily's guidance, she would either claim she has no homework or already did it. Naturally her grades suffered as she was not completing assignments she was capable of. While my girls certainly have the intellectual ability to meet their academic challenges, they struggled more with organization and accountability. I asked Emily to assist with monitoring the teacher's websites for homework assignments, upcoming tests, and project due dates. She has established a manageable organizational structure, as well as weekly checklists for them. She has also created binders for each girl, with a section for each subject that includes the class syllabus, teacher's expectations, and progress reports. Emily has been very nurturing with the girls, and has been wonderful about keeping them 'on task' without being a taskmaster. They both love her, and look forward to their time with her.
