What does music mean to you? To me it means connecting with others, reaching my potential, finding my voice. I find that music gives me the opportunity to explore and create while also challenging myself to reach new levels. I love learning new skills, the ability to play the pieces and songs I love, and the opportunity to perform with friends and colleagues including in virtual spaces.
If you find yourself thinking the same things, we will work great together. Through my experience teaching for over 15 years and with certifications in two methods along with doctoral research in a third, I will help you find and reach your musical goals. I have performed across the United States and Europe in professional and semi-professional ensembles and have experience performing all kinds of music including classical, jazz, and pop with Grammy award-winning artists.
I hold degrees from the University of Miami (Doctorate of the Musical Arts), University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music (Masters of Music and Artist Diploma), and Bard College at Simon’s Rock (Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Music).
Please contact me with any questions you might have and I look forward to working with you!
