Dyslexia Reading Tutor

I assist students who are struggling in reading and spelling. I trained at the Dyslexia Training Institute to teach reading through the Orton-Gillingham approach. It is a sequential and explicit approach that uses a multi-sensory style of learning for better retention. Each lesson is individualized for the student to strengthen the weak areas in the phonological processing area of reading. This approach is research based and has been successful in teaching reading for over 30 years.
