Science and Math Tutor
I am trying to ultimately become a high school biology teacher, but currently I am looking to find work as a tutor. I?ve really enjoyed tutoring students in the past, and find education to be very fulfilling. I graduated in December from UCSC with a Biology (B.S.) degree, but since then I have been supporting myself by tutoring privately and at learning centers. Testimonials
Paco C. from Coronado, CA Andrew is a great tutor! I've had multiple tutoring sessions with him and he has been great. He has really helped me understand the concepts and I've learned some good strategies that I will definitely keep using for a long time. I highly recommend Andrew he is very patient and he explains things super thoroughly. Overall great guy, great tutor, give him a call if you need help!
Simon T. from San Diego, CA Andrew is a very diligent tutor and is also a great communicator. My daughter is grasping the concepts of AP chemistry much better from Andrew than from her teacher at school. She is actually enjoying her study time with him and therefore enjoying chemistry rather than dreading what is definitely a difficult subject for her.
David J. from San Diego, CA Definitely a go-to-guy in the Physics tutoring world. Andrew is very descriptive, intelligent, and informative. He eases into topics and gives real world demonstrations. Andrew continues at your pace and leaves no questions unanswered. We covered multiple Physics problems at various challenge levels. He left me feeling confident in my work! Don't hesitate to get some help from him!
Danielle C. from La Jolla, CA If a tutor is brilliant but can't explain it in a way that is understood to the struggling student, then the session will be frustrating. Andrew is both brilliant and patient. He is determined to make sure he does not leave until you get it. He is kind and professional, just the type of tutor you are likely looking for! Helping my daughter get an A is, of course, nice, but Andrew has done more than this; he has inspired her to to actually like it!
Tracy B. from San Diego, CA Andrew helped me review for my organic chemistry final last fall. He was able to help me identify what areas I was lacking in and went over that material. He also provided me with supplemental materials from his own textbook. Overall, a good, patient tutor.
