Therefore, he had to enroll in an online course to complete his final semester. Since no one at home speaks French, I enlisted the help of a tutor for the first time. Devyani contacted us immediately and got us right on track. She adapted to my son?s curriculum and kept him focused and on task for biweekly hour-long (sometimes longer) sessions; quite a feat since my son is easily distracted. It was clear from the beginning that Devyani is not just a skilled French teacher; she has a love of the French language and culture. As a result, her sessions with my son were engaging (I even caught myself eavesdropping) and memorable. My son often shares facts about French art, music, etc. that he learned in his sessions, and by the way, he ended up with an ?A? in the course. Devyani?s strength is her versatility. Because she is so competent, she is equipped to challenge gifted students as well as those who need extra help.
