I started playing classical piano at the age of four. My lessons were designed to prepare me for competitions and performance. In 7th grade I performed a Mozart concerto with our local youth symphony and in high school I performed another Mozart concerto with the local adult symphony. Aside from solo performances I also joined the school band, choir, and jazz ensembles to get a more well-rounded piano background.
