Together we set goals and Doug has done an excellent job of communicating progress. All sessions take place at Doug's home which is quiet and allows for better concentration (as compared to a coffee shop or even the library). After a couple of sessions, Doug has adapted his teaching approach to my son's needs. It is still a bit early to tell what the impact will be on school grades but building trust and rapport with my son is an excellent start. We have used other tutors before and Doug's rates represent an excellent value (cost to benefit).
