I am an experienced tutor for English, Geography, Business, Political Science and French Horn. I perform in numerous Community Orchestras in the metropolitan Detroit area. The Macomb Symphony, Southern Great Lakes Orchestra, Lake St. Clair Orchestra and the Southfield Philharmonic. In addition to playing the horn, I teach it as well. Erika H. from Indianapolis, IN Jerry was a really nice guy and I believe he'd be a very patient and attentive tutor. I did not feel as though I learned a ton during my tutoring session though. This could be do to me needing to prepare more, but I also think that the terms etc., were not as familiar to him. I had specific problems that I needed help with that I provided ahead of time and they are for an MBA level macroeconomics course and I would rather the tutor just state that their not as familiar with the work than to muddle through the material. I have had previous tutors to just say that they didn't think they were the best fit. I would have preferred this instead of looking on internet etc. during the session. Again, I can tell by his demeanor that he'd be a very patient tutor and probably great tutor for a number of subjects, but just not for this one.
