Providing CAD Training and Math Tutoring
Enjoy the flexibility and convenience of private in-home instruction. My name is Michael and I’m an engineer and teacher. I earned a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Penn State University and a secondary teacher certification in mathematics from Cabrini College. As such, I offer help with a mix of engineering and math courses.
Many students benefit from one-on-one lessons, which enables them to learn in their own way. The added support builds confidence and inspires life long learning…
Testimonials
Katrina B. from Media, PA Michael was a lot of help. He was able to help prep my daughter for a high school physics test. Thanks!
Tom M. from Swedesboro, NJ My son thought that yesterday's first session with Michael was great. He said he felt that his teaching style was easy to understand and he would like to continue with him. I would encourage anyone who needs a math tutor to consider using Michael.
Bonnie B. from Ardmore, PA Micheal was flexible, communicative, cooperative, and dependable. I would hire him again anytime. He helped my son with Algebra 2 and he was able to meet with success, got an A- in the class.
Kim W. from Springfield, PA My daughter looked at her first tutoring session much like she would view going to the dentist. Michael seems to take his time and let my daughter open up about her issues with geometry and her general dislike of math. Through out the hour I could hear my daughter become more communicative and involved in the lesson. While of course she didn't say "I loved that, mom" and I got the stand answer "It was fine"; she admitted that she learned things!!! I am looking forward to our next lesson. My daughter had a major math test on Monday. I got a text from her that said "I killed my math test". First, I was thrilled that she did great! Second, I was even more thrilled that she was excited that she did great. Her confidence in math is now growing weekly. Instead of reading a problem and say "I don't know to do this;" she now reads it, thinks about it, draws it out based on what she knows, then begins to fill in the missing pieces. What a difference.
