I began my career in 1989 on the university level teaching Freshman Composition and tutoring in the on-campus Writing Lab at Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas. I have taught English language and literature on all levels from seventh grade to sophomores in college. I have adapted several independent study courses for students with special needs.
