I am a recent graduate of the University of Arizona who earned my Bachelor of Arts in History in May of 2012. History is a subject I’ve always enjoyed learning and teaching others about because it encompasses so many aspects of life and society. But, as a subject, history is rarely recognized as important and because it is treated as such, many of the important lessons of the past are ignored or lost.
