Testimonials
Kawanna I. from Warren, MI My Daughter has had two lessons with Mrs. Ann. And everything has been great. My daughter looks forward to her tutoring sessions. Mrs. Ann is very patient and from what see works very well with younger children as my daughter will be 6 in November.
Terry D. from Saint Clair Shores, MI When I first began searching for a Tutor through WyzAnt Tutoring, Ann C. was one I noticed almost right away. When I looked at her profile and customer satisfaction record, I was impressed. I selected her, and that night she made contact with me through email. A couple days later she was already tutoring my child. I am pleased to have Ann C. working with my child.
Barb S. from Clawson, MI I came to Ann Marie wishing to improve my math and science scores on the ACT. We met twice a week, and she was always courteous and timely. She started with assessing my basic math skills, looking for holes in my education, and then gave me shorter, untimed practice tests. We went over everything I had the slightest issue with, and when it was time to move on to full, hour-long timed practice math tests, she took the test with me and took time after to go over everything I missed, but only charged for an hour. Before our lessons, I had many difficulties pacing myself and finishing the science portion on time, but by the time we finished our lessons, I had almost no issue getting to every question. She typed out helpful, personalized packets with formulas, test overviews, and specific strategies I could use. When I mentioned that I was slightly unhappy with my writing score, she had me write out an essay for her to grade, helping me improve with relevant and important issues she pointed out. I've taken the ACT many times over the years, but she knew many things about the test that I did not. I have just taken my test and don't know if I improved or not yet, but because of her tutoring I was definitely well prepared. Update 7-29-14: My composite went up three whole points, and my writing score increased by two whole points!
