Frog Pond Early Learning Center

Frog Pond is a year-round, full-day, inclusive early learning center for children from 18 months to pre-kindergarten that is dedicated to working families.

Frog Pond offers:

*A curriculum rich in science and nature study and a dedicated science teacher!
*A natural environment on two acres of land adjoining Huntley Meadows Wildlife Refuge.
*A mini-farm with goats, chickens and native creatures.
*Healthy and nutritious foods, including fresh-made meals; fresh fruits and vegetables; whole grain snacks; organic milk and cheese; and more.
*Full-time and part-time options (based on whole day, up to 10 hours per day. No part-day options available).

Frog Pond is owned and operated by Mother Nurture Company, a nonprofit 501©(3) corporation dedicated to serving working families with young children.

Our Program

Frog Pond Early Learning Center is an early childhood program that emphasizes development of strong core values of character and respect for the interdependent web of life. Children connect with the earth and science by:

*caring for animals in our mini-farm of goats and chickens
*exploring the adjacent wildlife refuge (Huntley Meadows)
*experiencing our curriculum guided by Science Sarah
*participating in organic gardening
*tending our grounds and butterfly habitat
