Why do the Preschool programs at The Goddard School look like they are so much fun? Because play is the foundation for all learning and Goddard teachers are given the freedom to design lesson plans for the individual needs of the children in their classroom. Children gain self-confidence as they independently explore special centers for dramatic play, math, creative art, science, music, and computers. Our program utilizes fun and creativity to foster a love of learning, and our professionally educated faculty provides a warm and loving atmosphere for a “home away from home” environment.
My name is Patty Konecke, and I am the on-site owner of this well established preschool. Our approved nursery school program by MSDE (Maryland State Department of Education) exemplifies our commitment to children. I would like to personally invite you to come visit my School. The Goddard School located in Columbia, is open Monday through Friday from 7 AM until 6 PM year-round, offering a variety of programs convenient for parents who want the proven advantages of a high quality preschool education for their children.
In addition to our preschool programs, we offer licensed before- and after-school enrichment programs and a fun-filled summer program of camp activities for children up to eight years of age.
The Goddard School located in Columbia is at the corner of Quarterstaff and Freetown Roads in the Village of Hickory Ridge, near the intersection of Route 32 and Route 29.
