Welcome to Young School of King’s Contrivance, located in Columbia! My name is Jess and I have been at our school since 1999! Our school is conveniently located at Rivers Park at King’s Contrivance.
We’re pleased to offer programming for infants through pre-kindergarten at our state-of-the-art school which features five outdoor play areas including a bike path, playing field and multiple playgrounds. We offer flexible full- and part-time schedule options in our programs to meet your family’s needs. Our curriculum is inspired by two internationally acclaimed programs: Resources for Infant Educarers (RIE) and the Reggio Emilia approach.
Your child’s health and safety is our top priority. Our dedicated teaching staff completes ongoing professional development and training, including maintaining current Infant/Child First Aid and CPR certifications.
