  • A family of 2 must make less than $19,380 per year.

  • A family of 3 must make less than $24,410 per year.

  • A family of 4 must make less than $29,440 per year.

  • A family of 5 must make less than $34,470 per year.

  • A family of 6 must make less than $39,500 per year.

  • A family of 7 must make less than $44,530 per year.

  • A family of 8 must make less than $49,560 per year.

Alaska’s Child Care Program Office provides help with child care expenses for children of families who are enrolled in eligible work training, education or career programs and positions. While many of the service available through Alaska’s Department of health and Social Services Division of Public Assistance are temporary, they also offer more permanent child care subsidy services. While you may select your care provider, only eligible providers are allowed to receive public assistant funding. For more information, visit the Child Care Program Office.
