Kansas’ Department for Children and Families offers the Child Care Subsidy Program for many types of families. You may qualify if your family is low-income and working, already receiving TANF, teen parents pursing a high school education or some involved in other educational or training programs. The services are offered for children under 13 or some under 19 who have special needs. Parents who are approved to participate in the subsidy program are welcome to choose their provider from a list of licensed centers, programs and at-home care options. To learn more, call 1-888-369-4777.
