Residents of Utah may be eligible for the Payment-to-Parent Child Care Assistance Program, offered through the state’s Department of Workforce Services. The program offers funding support to parents who are struggling to afford child care. Only parents who are working or attending an approved educational program may be eligible to receive financial support for child care. Assistance may be offered through either the Family Employment Program or Employment Support Child Care. Even those who qualify for Utah’s assistance will still be asked to help pay for care services through a child care co-pay. The rate of the co-pay will depend on a variety of factors including the age of the child and the type of certification held by the care provider.Interested families may apply for benefits through myCase.
